Anyworkarounds or indicator on what makes 9c error come alive ?

Google says: qpi/vtt needs to be raised. i only found vtt in bios. what is qpi ?

Ive got a asus z87 pro with corsair vengeance pro 1866.

Ive tried every setting in the book(input voltage, vcore, cachevoltage etc).
I have a stable 4.6 ghz with 1.26vcore i can boot and play games 4.7 - 4.9.
thats when i get the 9c error.

Anyone have any clue on what this is ?

Welcome to the ROG forums, Gunlab.

You're stable at 4.6GHz with 1.26V. Good. But what voltage are you using for 4.7GHz and 4.9GHz? You are adjusting the voltage when you go that high, right?

yup, i am adjusting all the way up to 1.4v but i get the same errors with lower vcore. i still get the error no matter what voltage.

4.6 @ 1.26 volts, i do want to push this puppy more.

ram at 1333
cache at 34 multi.

doesnt matter really what ram and cachemulti is at i still get the 9c error.

elp! 😮

Are you seeing this 9C code on the DEBUG LED? And are you sure it is 9C? And when are you seeing this code? During the post process or while using your system?

I think it simply means to be 100% stable your system is going to need a whole heap more voltages. Which voltage that is going to be the trick.

Please list all your hardware and also indicate what your memory frequency is please.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.
