Well...

I don't know how to put this... But I forgot my mobo password...

I have a Maximus Formula V and I plan to do a fresh install, since I got a new GPU card.

Anyway, the main point is, yeah I forgot the password.

How can I reset the password in this case and enter a new one?

1. Switch off your PSU.
2. Disconnect the power cable.
3. Remove the CMOS battery for 30 minutes.
4. Press the Start button on the motherboard to discharge any remaining power.
5. Insert the CMOS battery back into place.
6. Connect the power cable.
7. Switch on the PSU.

And you should be good to go.
