I have always had a tn panel monitor simply because most gamers say you need to have at least a 2ms. & 120hz panel for gaming with shooters like any cod or battlefield games. There also seems to be a lack of any industry standard method or independent body, for measuring response times. Personally I would prefer an IPS because for me in gaming being able to admire a fictional world in all it's beauty is part of the fun.
I have read that a IPS panel might downgrade the fast paced play of any new title like say Battlefield 4, Since I have only owned 2ms - 120hz monitors & the people I talk to say "You either get a fast TN or a slow but color accurate IPS panel." What to do, any of you guys have comments on gaming with IPS panels are they good I know that the picture looks awesome, can a person really see the difference between say a 2ms & a 8ms monitor some say yes & some say no way, Thoughts please.
