Mobo overheats when CPU fan throttles

HI, I was just wondering if it is normal that when the CPU fan speed increases, does it also increases the temp of my Maximus V Formula Board. I noticed this when I was using CorsairLink 2 to manually increase the fan speed on my hydro H100i from the default/fixed RPM to 2100rpm. when I did this on both fans, the Asus Mobo software a pop up message indicated I was at 100c. Is this normal response for a Mobo when the CPU fan increases? Thanks

dont use 2 monitor programs!
asus ai suite = 1 monitor program
corsair link = 1 monitor program
they will collide and give you miss readings all over the place on temp, power+++
always use 1 ( ONE ) monitor program for monitoring , HWmonitor is a good one for monitoring power, temp,++
