Where did you buy yours?

I have run into an interesting situation. I have been "recruited" by my parent's church in Ohio to help them create a tech solution for their new direction. The software they're running is ProPresenter5 which has some pretty stringent requirements, such as dedicated discrete graphics, and the control software needs a 1080i screen on a 15" laptop to be usable.

In all my searching for the right system, I keep coming back to the one I'm doing the searching on, my G55VW. It meets the specs, and can run this software handily. The problem is the budget - I lucked out on mine and grabbed an open-box return to Best Buy for $720, but every other ROG laptop I've uncovered in the past week is US$1000 or higher.

I'd thought I'd pop in here and ask where y'all bought yours so I can go shopping.
