Title says it all. I didn't receive any activation email.

No idea now. My permissions automatically switched from "you may not post" to "you may post". When I first signed up though, the site said I would get an activation email and I would need to activate it before I could post.

Just a little bit inconsistent information.

That remains to be seen as I think some of my problems are Windows 8.1 related - Gamefirst not out yet and Kapersky license not transferring over smoothly from 2013 to 2014.
