Boosted_R
Level 8
My scores 3Dmark11, Driver Version 280.26, did not use ThrottleStop (doesn't work for some reason):

Stock Max 62*C During Test:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,ASUSTeK Compute...

OC 920/1840/1625 Max 65*C During Test:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,ASUSTeK Compute...

Never Overclocked anything before, MSI afterburner made it super easy

Running lower, same or higher settings, please post. Thanks

(Used OC settings from other site, which they say run good 24/7)

(If your running 128 bit (2GB 560M) please make a new tread)

MSI Afterburner has limits in its overclocking. Thus the reason I use NVIDIA Inspector.

Would have though you would have gotten more performance with the ram upgrade

Ran 930 setting: P2648

http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1755039
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Only during 3Dmark11 at 950 setting i got a message saying Driver none responsive, recovered successfully, could it be the driver, or clocking is too high for this driver ?

What driver are you using?

Did you get Throttle Stop to run on your G74SX ? if so how?

Thanks

Nice scores. Chas, what are your stable clocks for the G74 that'll be safe to use most of the time?

I was able to run DA2 with the 945 settings, some games needed 940.

Hi Guys
ASUS G74SX-91237Z 17,3"/ 3D/ i7-2670QM/ 16G/ 2x500G7/ BluRayRW/ GTX560M/3GB / Nvidia driver 285.62

I am using MSI Afterburnner 940 / 1880 / 1625, and AIDA 64 to overwatch all values on my Keyboard LCD (CPU %- Mhz - RPM(VENT) - TEMPERATURE - Voltage; MEM %-Mhz; GPU % - core - shader - memory - TEMPERATURE - Voltage;

And this is what I get: P2725 3DMARK 11
http://3dmark.com/3dm11/2102956

Running BF3 FullHD with max settings I get arround 25-30fps ingame/online CPU TEMP is arround 66C-70C; GPU is arround 58C-62C. Talking to Asus support, they told me anything under 85C for the GPU would be fine. Anything arround 90C wouldnt be good ,O))) Would wonder when the notebook shut´s down automaticly.

That'd be when the flames melt through the ribbon cables in your system. ;>{)> Seriously, I THINK, but am not sure, it would be when the CPU or GPU maximum operating temperature (110 or 100 C) is reached.
