Fed Ex Brought my G73 A1 in the morning and while removing bloatware, I got the PSOD (no display on left half of screen and rainbowy on right half) called tech support and got a rma. The machine is now sitting in Haward 8 days "waiting for parts". I will probably have to buy another notebook to use until this gets repaired. At the very least I thought they would have replaced it as it didn't last one day.
I was hoping to get a replacement cross-shipped, but that was never offered.
If I would have known about all the screen failures I doubt if I would have bought it.

It's now 12 days and still "waiting for parts".
One would think that because of the known past failures that they would have the parts in stock!

I just got it from FedEx today, they replaced the screen and everything seems to be working.
I was hoping they would update the BIOS as I don't want to risk losing the keyboard lights, but no such luck.
I'm still having issues playing Blu-Ray as all disks freeze after 20 seconds or so.
I'm using power DVD 10 with no luck.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that nothing else fails.
