Choose me a ram kit or two, oh forum.

So I suck at figuring out which ram kit is best for my needs I've opted for you to call the shots. My needs will be about video recording gameplay footage and employing ridiculous high amount of VRAM usage with the quad crossfire 7970 4x3=12GB Vram to send data to all the cards, my current 8GB doesn't seem to cut it at high vram usage scenarios. Hiccups occur so I decided to buy a decent 16 or 32g kit. Not many kits available around here so I'll just link you the stuff and hopefully you'll pick the best ram for me. I don't want high speeds either 1600-1833 something should do. Don't want to stress IMC on my 3930k. With that said here are the links:

Honestly we don't have a tried and tested quad kit ram around here and none of the kits actually say they support quad channel memory so that's part of the reason I was asking. I couldn't pick a RipjawsZ series either because, we don't have a seller of that either. And I didn't personally put a Corsair Vengeance set here because I hear x79 and those kits don't get along well. Oh and btw if it matters my mobo bios is 1101.

Noooo 😮

Don't combine kits buy one single kit of the size you want...get some G.Skill Z series somehow...can't be that hard http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-1866c9q-32gzh

The selection I made is not a quad kit.

If you wish to use a quad kit it is advisable to buy a kit that is made up of four sticks.

Their is a very good reason why matched kits cost so much more, and that is they will work together. Just buying two kits and expecting them to work is a risk that you need to be aware of, some do and some do not.

Where do you live? And where are you shopping for your RAM?
