Maximis VI slow boot with Asmedia enabled

I 'm experiencing slow booting at the windows animation logo, if I have asmedia controller enabled in the bios.
The booting will take more 10sec with it. I wonder if there is something I can do to make the boot faster/normal with asmedia controller enabled? I need the asmedia controller to connect an old SSD SATA2 Force 80GB which has incompatibility issue with Z87 chipset.

Sadly not, the Asmeida controller is a third party controller and is in addition to the native Intel controller.
