q-code 00, and cpu cache volt/modifier

ever since the 804 bios i have been getting these 00 errors on boot. 903 didn't change anything for me. I have modified voltages here and there but have so far been unsuccessful as to what the actual cause is. i have also set my mem to 1333/1600 with defaults. It always happens after a cold boot. At stock i do not get the errors.

x45
core:1.25 i can go down to 1.235 98%reliability 1.24 99% and 1.245 100% i am just at 1.25 from messing around with volts trying different things
cache:auto usually sits at 1.105-115
SA: auto + .808
AIO: auto + 1.010-020
DIO: auto + 1.015-020
vccin: auto 1.696
i have tried manual vccin 1.7-1.8 under input, boot, before os. I have added up to 1.15 on SA and AIO DIO.

Second part of this is that my cache. If i touch the cache in any way everything goes to hell. Even if i manually set it to where it sits it still crashes. If i leave it at auto and up the ratio it crashes. If i leave it at auto and set it to 39 max min 8 it crashes. I have gone all the way up to 1.265 on it. above the core volt. to get to 46 i have been to 1.26 and i decided to just stop at 45. I have been to 47 at 1.31 but temps were getting a bit hot.
stock volta are core: .992 cache: 1.110 SA: .808 AIO: 1.010 DIO:1.015 vccin: 1.696

Any ideas on why the cache is so touchy? Any ideas on other troubleshooting the 00 code?

Try a lower CPU ratio at that Vcore - say 42x or 43x max. That CPU might not be as good as needed for voltage you are running.

for the 00 code or the cache?

if for the cache even at stock settings if i touch anything with the cache it crashes.

Seems to be the same problem like mine. After changing voltages of the CPU and Cache, the Board won't start from cold. ASUS Support told me, that this problem occurs with G.Skill memory because of an UEFI bug (G.Skill memory that is on the QVL!!!!). I can change everything in UEFI and the board starts normal. After apllying OC and changing the voltages, the board is going to have this Code 00 errors. Strange thing is, that the board is able to start with the settings applied, after a while (start the board a few times, unplug power cord). After shutdown and a few hours the problem occurs again. OC is stable and runs everything.

funny part about that is i didnt have the 00 problem until the 804 bios. As soon as it flashed it crashed right away to 00. A clear got it resolved at the time to bios. But now even if i go back to an earlier bios it still gets the 00. When i flashed to 804 i used the uefi bios utility in the uefi. I have tried the flash methods with just a usb but still gets 00. Here is the post i made about it. http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?37337-Asus-maximus-vi-hero-bios-update-prolem Ohh and the part about the cache going up .1 with the 804 bios. When i flashed back to the older bios's it stayed at the higher volt.

so i figured out my issue.....eventual cpu input. apparently my proc just wants to run everything super low. set eventual to 1.8 and initial to 1.75 and all my problems went away. bumped cache to 44 at 1.235. still havent tweaked the volts on it yet was more of a OMG IT FINALY WORKS moment.

yarp...i hope people read this and will look an eventual input. imo maybe asus needs to bump this a bit? from what i can tell it looks like my proc would be perfect for someone wanting super low volts as it runs very well very low. but on the upper oc side i seem to be in the upper 40% or so.

Something else i have wondered is voltage limits. some guides say 1.35 and above others say never go above 1.3. same with vccin some say top is 1.85 others say 2.0
