Hello,
Im about to place an order for my new build, based on:

Intel Core i7-4770K Box, LGA1150
ASUS Maximus VI Gene (C2) Z87 Sockel 1150 mATX DDR3
SKU 90MB0E10-M0EAY5
EAN 4716659553564

16GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance Pro Red PC3-14900U CL 9-10-9-27 (DDR3- 1866)
SKU CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R
EAN 0843591041935

ASUS GTX770-DC2O-2GD5 DirectCU II OC, GeForce GTX 770, 2GB GDDR5
SKU 90YV04E1-M0NA00
EAN 4716659514930

Aerocool DS Cube Window ROT D.R.,Gehäuse
SKU EN52339
EAN 4713105952339

The problem.
I need advice about the size of a cooler for Asus Gene VI .
My choice so far:

1)CoolerMaster Hyper 412S ,or
2)Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro REV.2

I would not be OC extremely (only modest).
I prefer quiet PC
Price range: about 15$ - 35$

I'm worried that my first choice is going to have problems with the RAM slots (too big).

Please advice about the size, thank you very much 🙂

Welcome to the ROG forums, Domi.mkd!

You did not specify with processor you'll be buying. Haswell runs pretty hot when overclocked. An i7 will run even hotter than an i5. So even for a modest overclock, your two heatsink choices might or might not be able to cope with the heat.

Thank you for your attention, I updated the post and added the processor, any advice now? 🙂

I would grab the G.SKILL Sniper 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1866MHz to save the extra $20. Then get somethng like the CoolerMaster TPC 812.
