It depends what you're gonna use it for... for regular gaming not sure, but for overclocking and benchmarking perhaps it would worth the upgrade...

Well, if you're in competitive benchmarking then 15% gain on the performance is a lot!
But as I said, for everyday gaming it does not really worth it...

The first quarter of next year is rumoured to come with the GTX 790 and the GTX Titan Ultra but I would expect neither of these cards to retail at less than grand. AMD are also rumoured to have some new cards in the pipeline based on the Hawaii architecture.
This problem of purchasing something for it only to become second best within a matter of months is common place in this hobby unfortunately. So paying an extra 100 for bragging rights of the fastest single GPU currently available will only be temporary. Either card is capable of providing slick gaming graphics that will do you for the next 18 months to 2 years easily. It really comes down to personal budget if this card us worth the extra cash.
Simply buying the fastest card on the market may not yield the best over clocking results. We still all have to play the silicon lottery.

You do get what you pay for as EVGA is in the top if not the top in customer service.My 2 680s came with a lifetime warranty even though I bought them on ebay.Had one replaced in a matter of days when it went bad.
