In the past I never had this problem so I know it's not my router. but after the Windows 8.1 update and the introduction of the new driver 10.0.0.263

my internet keeps cutting intermittently 😞

please help, I hope there is another driver update underway

it doesn't happen with the Windows default driver, only with the driver provided by ASUS

Why not just revert to the default windows driver, if it works fine?

I did that, but I feel that also ASUS needs to fix it

İ had the same problem with my 750JH. İ tried everything but cant solve. İ updated drivers still nope. İ used win8 no solıution. i figured out ASUS live update doesnt work properly cuz when i visit asus wifi card driver page it was my wifi card outdated and ASUS live update says up to date. And i updated new drivers from ASUS site but cant solve the drop connection problem. İ sent the machine to the guarantee to get a new machine . İ reseatched qualcomm killer card and i must say a lot of ppl have this connection problem. Donno what will have to do.
****en qualcom did a **** job with killer cards.

Here is a newer drivers, but I don't know help they or not.
Here is discussed this problem for one special nic. Maybe it helps.

What protocol are you using?
802.11ac will always be a problem unless you have an 80211ac wifi. You may get connection to 802.11 b/g/n routers, but it will be spotty and drop often.
Usually routers are backwards compatible, laptops are not. So if you bought a laptop with 802.11ac you need to upgrade your wifi or carry a 802.11n adapter with you. Netgear makes a nice little USB adapter for 802.11n.

Asus needs to make a sticky informing people of this - your old wifi and most hot spots will NOT WORK with your new ROG 750 laptop.

I have the G750jx with the Broadcom 802.11ac wifi using Win 8.1 with Asus 6.30.223.99 drivers and this is not changed from default install. I've only had this notebook for a week but I've done numerous and large d/l and have not had a single hiccup with this card. I have a Bell 25/10 internet service and use a Netgear WNDR3700 router and normally d/l at average 3.3MB/s sitting in the sunroom about 60 feet from the router. In the last couple of days I've d/l Ghost and just finishing d/l Assassin black flag both 25 gb d/ls, not 1 hiccup on either.
My G75VW did just as well on Win 7, but I have to say I love this machine! My router is set on the 2.4 band using 802.11 b/g/n.

I ended up just installing Windows 7 and sticking to the original driver 10.0.0.225 which never gave me these problems

Windows 8 and 8.1 and everything about it suck
