This is the link...says MVIE plus oc panel.....you'd have good grounds for insisting they swap whatever they send for an MVIE

Arne you would be sent a M6H regardless of what the pictures say. The description is for the Hero if you look at the bottom.

It will get hot in the case with any dual fan card in SLI. So unless you plan to watercool them, you're probably better off with a single 780ti since you're using triple monitor. You're still in the same price range and similar performance. And since the reference 780Tis are 3GB VRAM you can go with a reference one and later on upgrade with a second (when the price drops).

For sure they'd send a Hero...but with one click shopping and that title you'd have a good case to return it insisting on a MIVE...but hey, it's not a battle I would entertain.

Just saw this is same price as 770 http://www.pccomponentes.com/sapphire_r9_290_4gb_gddr5.html

I would seriously be tempted to the AMD side by this that's 780 level performance with more VRAM! and blower style card.....

Hmmm maybe we're not helping so much LOL

LOL! you're welcome mate. Well, yes there is that..they are hot and relatively loud (though most fans do get loud on most cards anyway). Personal thing if you can stand noise or not. Shame because price performance that is stellar....you could always move to gaming with headphones...;-)

I was kinda thinking along the same lines. Not only the extra heat and extra wattage form a second card, but your also using a motherboard that only goes 8x8 in sli, where a single 780ti would be x16. Lastly, what kind of games do you play? the only games that seem to have an increase in performance from sli are the triple A titles like crysis3. I dont play BF4 but i think i read that its cpu bound and x2 gpu doesnt increase fps all that much.
I cant blame you for wanting multiple gpu though, its just fun to build that kind of stuff.

99% of the games scale rather good with SLI nowadays. It's only Crossfire that has scaling issues with a lot of titles. 2xSLI scales very very good. And 2x Crossfire scales good most of the time. With 3x and 4x there are a lot of factors involved but mainly the CPU is the bottleneck.

I can not tell you about BF4 specifically as I do not own the game. I can tell you though that ALL games are CPU bound in one way or another specially on 1080p resolutions, unless we're talking entry level video cards and high end CPU combos which are not very common.
With high resolutions (Eyefinity/Suround/4K/etc) it is a lot more complicated and bottlenecks depend largely on the game engine and its design as well as the exact hardware configuration (eg an HDD will always be a bottleneck, while an SSD eliminates the File I/O bottleneck entirely unless the engine is crap). There are a lot of factors to consider so you can not speak in general for this usage scenario.
