So unfortunately my experience with the G750JH has not been a good one. I bought the 8gb ram version yesterday (in Czech republic) and immediately found some problems after booting it up.
First i had the "white noise when using headphones issue" which many people seems to have experienced. Tried all different audio drivers to no avail, however by turning down the sound on my headphones and compensating with higher volume on the computer the issue became tolerable.
After some more extensive testing however i found a more serious issue. I experience clipping and popping when playing audio (all sources, youtube, music, video). Turns out this mostly happened when the network card was extensively in use (e,g downloading a game around 5 Mb/s). I thought it was a hardware issue and returned the computer. They gave me a new one and i hoped the issues were resolved
However the new computer has the exact same problems. I decided to do some more testing (haven't found any people reporting the same issue) and found out that latency was horrible. I used tools like "DPC latency checker" and latencymon. Problems persists even with the wifi card disabled, but it seems worse when it is in and in use. I tried all different drivers i could find (Killer 1202 card), but nothing has worked.
Seems like i have to return the G750JH tomorrow and ask for a full refund. It's sad though, seems like a very good computer (except for the problems i have mentioned)
Anyone else experienced similar issues?

Hi Hmscott. Thank you for your reply.
Yeah i know about the low impedance headphone problem and as i wrote in my post a managed to make it tolerable, so for me this is not an issue anymore.
However i believe you are wrong about my second problem. I already tried the solutions you suggested prior to making this post, and they do not work. Also the problems persists even when not on headphones (sorry if i forgot to specify that in my previous post). I also ran several latency tests and found out that the computer has severe DPC problems (peaks of 10.000s of us). I have tried disabling different drivers to locate the problem, it gets better when I disable the wireless adapter, but i can still see some issues. As i said the problem is worst when using the adapter at higher downloading speeds. I have found posts of other people having similar problems with different computers using Atheros adapters. I tried all different drivers for my card i could find but it does not solve the issue.
I am by no means panicking, its just that i go home to Norway during the weekend and won't be returning to Czech Republic until mid February. Right now I have the opportunity to get a refund, but I won't if i go back to Norway for two months and are still unable to fix the problem. I haven't even had time to stress test the RAM, CPU, GPU etc yet because i have spent all my time trying to figure out the audio issue.
Anyway I will leave to return my G750JH now, I just decided to post on this forum in case other people experience the same issues.

Hi again hmscott. :). I just want to tell you I have already returned the laptop for a full refund. However I wanted to comment on your post. ... but you have to keep in mind that even if you have no problems with your laptop (and I'm happy for you) that doesn’t mean other people are not experiencing problems.
Anyway I appreciate your response and wish you a good day sir 🙂
