G53J - Power4Gear/Screen Type Buttons Not Working

I just bought a brand new G53J and I opened it up and everything was working great. I start Updating windows and then things obviously begin to fall apart. The buttons in the top left above the keyboard aren't all working. The keyboard illumination button works but the other two now do nothing now.

You need to have installed these apps for those keys and other specials to work:

ATK Package
Power4Gear Hybrid for TwinTurbo 1.0.37 or earlier
Slendid for Splendid key (totally optional, I prefer it uninstalled)
Synaptic driver for FN+F9 to work
[SIGPIC]Kicking Ass Since Today[/SIGPIC]
