What was your 2013 ROG PC, and what's your 2014 upgrade?

If you built a PC this year I want to know about it!

    Now mine:

    My 2013 rig/upgrade was:

My HTPC got an upgrade (yea, not a gaming PC booo, but ROG board still).
    • Underclocked 2500K/Maximus VI Gene (retired system)
    • One 4GB DIMM (less power)
    • Two new 3TB WD Red HDD
    • One new 256GB Samsung SSD
    • New ASUS RT -n spec router
Not exciting, but 24/7 reliable at ~25W. My old AMD Athlon one was ~60W

My 2014 upgrade is going to be:

    1) My 24" 1080p monitor is long in the tooth and having experienced both 4K and G-Sync I want both. Together. 2014 should have more WQHD/4K options in the market, but I'm not sure what G-Sync will go into yet.
    2) Likely a graphics card upgrade with enough VRAM to support said monitor To see what TSMC 20nm brings!

    My 2013 rig/upgrade was:
    -Rampage Extreme IV Black Edition
    -i7 4930k
-Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB 2400 Mhz
    -Asus ROG RAIDR 240GB SSD
    -Creative Soundblaster ZxR

My 2014 upgrade is going to be:
    1) My gtx 690 will get replaced hopefully by 2X Asus GTX 780Ti
2)I have a DELL 30" monitor that i would like upgraded to something similar to Marshall's with 4K & G-Sync

I'm always on the look out for new tech so anything cutting edge interests me

I kinda built a new Rig this year, reason I say kinda is due to the fact that it's only meant to be a temporary setup until my next build

    Board: RIVF
CPU: 3820 ES with el lamo Intel Stock 2011 Cooler
    RAM: Corsair XMS 3 8GB @ 1600MHz
    SSD: Corsair Neutron 128GB

    VGA: Gigabyte GTX 285

    HDD: Seagate 2TB
VGA: Might splash out on a MARS 760, else it'll be a EVGA GTX 770 Classified ACX 4GB - I would prefer a 780 Poseidon, but for now I won't be putting it under water, til I can afford it down the road.
