I have been looking for a 3d G750 for about 3 months. The only one I found was ASUS Gaming Notebook G750JH-DB72-CA but I don't want a Canadian one. Where in the USA do they sell the 3d laptops.. they don't sell them at newegg or tigerdirect or on amazon.

Does anyone know where I can get one?

Price is a bit inflated IMO, but if you are looking at a brick and mortar store it's the only one I've seen.

Those are all regular matte screen G750JH-DB71's

I couldn't find a US outlet with the 3D model, not even special order...

reka121402, a lot of people purchased G750's thinking they were getting a 3D screen. The laptop will drive a 3D external screen and so all the ad's / boxes have 3D listed on them, so it is easy to read quickly and think it is a 3D screen.

The G750's that actually have a 3D screen also include 3D glasses, and that is listed in the "what's included" list for the ad copy, on the box, and I think there must be an additional graphic on the box - although I haven't seen one of those boxes in person.

That is the problem.... the screens are only 60hz. I want the 120hz.... its funny, that AE and Canada can get them, but here in the states, we can not. Its a great marketing scheme....

All them laptops will do 3d though a hdmi cable your 3d tv. Asus phone support claims they are 3d, but they don't understand that I want it to play on the laptop not to my tv.

Hi Hmscott, just read you response with great interest, though may I ask for some clarity. I myself will be "upgrading" to the ROG being a previous Asus owner. The place were Im considering buying this from has this advertising there product. Can you provide with clarity here, as in one instance theyre claiming 1980by1080

Does that mean its only giving you 3d when hdmi to a tv or the actual machine. Know Im sick as I type this.....but?

Hi, i have a 120hz 3D screen bought in Dubai, UAE and it came with 3D glasses (and a bag and mouse)

Is it also true to say that the 3D screens are all glossy (mine is) and the 2D are all matte?

also, the 3D screens are connected to an Internal Display Port (for 120hz speed) and the 2D to a normal LVDS.
this makes a lot of difference if you want to run Apple OS X (see thread here on ROG)

hey there i just sold my asus g74sx with 20gigs ram and a 250gb evo ssd and im looking to buy the new asus g750jh 24gb ram gtx 780m gaming beast! but i feel i should go the extra step and find this 3D bundle i have read about with the 3D screen and glasses! i am a canadian and have seen it is avaiable in canada? anyone know where?
