Hi guys I'm looking to install a SSD in my G75VW, now I have installed hundreds off hard drives before but this will be my first SSD drive. I would like to know if I have to change anything in the BIOS ?

Also if anyone has any tips to help with my install thanks.

This is the SSD Drive I'm looking at:

congratulations 🙂 you can handle ssd like hdd.

in the bios, the only thing i can think of is to change the sata operations to ahci. the rest should be simple: if you're running stock w8, just use backtracker to create a recovery usb and proceed with it. if it's a stock w7, you can download the drivers from asus support page and a legal copy of w7 and do a clean install.

good luck.
