Keyboard driver problem - G75VW older Call od Duty game

I play the original Call of Duty with the United Offensive upgrade on my G75VW running under Windows 8.1. The game is now over 10 years old and first came out when Windows XP first came out.

My keyboard works perfectly for everything else but this game. What happens is that all of sudden, my character starts moving forward and sometimes goes prone. The only way to stop it's movement or stand up, is to hit the 'Escape' key. This happens with both Windows 7 and 8.1.

Anyone have any ideas?

please try to reinstall kb driver.

Uninstalled and deleted driver, restarted and Windows and it loaded a generic driver. Problem continues but less often. Then installed the 1003 driver from Asus site and problem continues.

FYI, for those not being able to load the driver and complaining about Asus, the proper way is to download the driver file, extract it, go to the keyboard item in device manager and right click, update driver and point to the extracted file. Installation is very smooth.
