ASUS GeForce GTX 780Ti not recognized

The graphic card on my new build is not recognized and when installing driver's for the graphic card, it stalls near the end and won't finish. I don't understand. I have gone in the BIOS and disabled the integrated graphics and set it to PCIe but still nothing. any ideas as to why? do I need to RMA the card?

At which stage does it stall at? And did you run the installer with administrator priviledges?

during the driver install, it will run and the progress bar stops near the end it doesn't have a % scale just will not respond after that. I tried the Nvidia website and the website did a scan on my computer and it didn't find any Nvidia products. I'm assuming I did do admin privileges because it asks me to allow to run.

Can you take a screenshot of your Device Manager for me? Make sure to expand the Display Adapters section.

did you recently remove the intel HD vga driver? for the IGPU?

if you were running on IGPU before that is

    Ok, it works..

If the IGUP are being used, and the Intel hdXXXX vga driver is not removed, it can cause issues, such as getting into windows (black screen), when a new GPU is installed in the PCI-E slot.

Remove the Intel HD driver (reboot), prior to installing a new GPU card

I know this wasnt your issue, but i wrote it anyway, someone else may run into this

Well I just finish building the computer last night at 4:30am and I installed all the drivers but the VGA because it would not recognize the VGA but, somehow an Nvidia download fixed it and I'm not sure what it was. As far as the iGPU, I had disabled it in the UEFI and set PCIe as primary...but now it is working haven't played a game on it because I don't have to play yet they are downloading
