All the drives you said installed, I still have this one... I'd like to have everything installed, but I think this was the one that was giving me the headaches.

If you want to have driver for ACPI\PNP0A0A setup while not installing Asus AI Suite - it involves using Asus driver CD and dreaded Asus com driver will be installed as a part of this process.

Here is what you need to do: on your Asus DVD that came with your board navigate to \Bin\AMDA00\x64 (or x32 for 32 bit OS).

Run AsusSetup and after it completes that device will now be under "System Devices". It is called "AMDA00 Interface".

If you go to to "Driver file details" you will see that Asus com service is listed as a part of the files from which this driver package consists.

This has worked each time in the past. You can simply ignore this too by the way.

Pretty sure I used this to install it the last time.

    ASUS_AMDA00_ACPI for Windows 7 32/64bit & Windows 8 32/64bit & Windows 8.1 32/64bit.

I have never personally had this, but based on what I have seen you can ignore it with no worries. I have asked someone else who has dealt with this to respond when next he is online.

I would not be fussed about it, I would simply let it be.

The AMDA00 Interface driver is needed for some parts of AISuite as well as the Boot To BIOS utility. If you are not using either you do not need to install the driver. If you wish to install this driver it should be in Bin folder of the motherboard driver disk.
