I've done the re-paste several times on my G73JH, and always with success it allows me to maintain decently low temperatures. But now I want to mod my cooling system, and I have been looking to see if anyone has done anything in regards to the cooling system... and I have found only one. It was a person who drilled holes from the base of his laptop, which I am considering as it should technically reduce CPU/GPU temps by adding more cool air to the copper heat sinks.

Now, what I was looking at, and hoping for some feedback on, was removing the Blu-Ray disc drive and building a custom cooling intake... using some 50mm by 10mm fans or similar. I would just need to find a way to power the array of fans, or one big one if i could find it. But I believe it would reduce internal temps by at least 10 C by pushing more air.
