    Formula-z power on issues.

From time to time my computer won't even turn on and I'd like to say I've tried everything I can but it still won't turn on. As far as specs go I can post at a later date what I've got in it but a little more description about the issue. So when I first tried building the computer I had overlooked a small 4 pin plugin at the upper left hand corner but easily remedied that situation within minutes. And then ran into issues attempting to install the drivers from the disk to the point where I was getting boot issues similar to what everyone else was having. After having a buddy of mine look Into that for me and I reinstalled windows 8.1 for the third time it seemed like it was working well finally not quite perfect but nothing to complain about. Until a few days ago it went back to giving me trouble again. So now with everything installed it won't turn on even after redoing the whole build for the second time tonight I still can't get it to even power on. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should troubleshoot for or even if I should RMA the board I'd be more then willing to use some advice.

Welcome to the ROG forums, Xzavioure.

We'll need you to list your complete system specifications as detailed as possible so that we have an idea of what we're working with.

I need you to locate the long and thin sticker that has a barcode and a bunch of numbers. It is on your motherboard. Post the last 4 digits here for me please.

Sounds like RAM issues to me, if you cannot even install Windows...that generally means RAM problems. Download Memtest86+, let it run for 4 cycles and see if it throws up any errors, if it does...RMA the RAM.

Would this be on the box itself as I'm not at home I'm at work and my friend has the original box in his possession?

@silent. That was the initial issue but I've been able to work past that and got windows to install my issue now is that it won't even power on. I've attempted resetting the bios by removing the battery. I've completely rebuilt the whole computer twice since initial purchasing and still no luck.
