yes a CL7 need at least a 7 tWCL to perform good..

But if the latency boundary is slow, that tWCL 7 is still going to be pretty slow, if i understand it right..

anyone else may have a better answer..

yes the maximus PSC profile is not very tight... not tight at all

the tighter, the more juice they claim..

Maybe tWCL 7 will run on the other PSC kit, like I said I don't think the first one is the best around.

They should run @2800Mhz with raw Mhz profile right? Can't get that to boot on they Ivy, might be IMC though.

I can get it above 2800Mhz(2828Mhz) with BLCK tweaking from 2666Mhz, don't know if that rules out the IMC though?

if you compare to a intel system, the AMD is slower..

I was playing around with Realbench and figured I'd do a run of Maxxmem, I must have done something right. Don't know what though, the timings are not tight and the clock is not high.

just tested some old OEM sticks.. from the box of glory..

    Attachment 36867

    Attachment 36925

    Kingston KVR 1333mhz CL9 ( NO XMP ) / Hynix CFR 2X4GB

    running fine at 2133mhz CL9 24/7

    Just testing, not finetuned.....

something snapped inside my CPU today (while running Realbench) , and now i got more mhz to play with when it comes to mem

    Attachment 36872

    ------------------
    OC 2180mhz CL9

    Attachment 36871

Had to test the sticks in ROG Realbench..

    4670K/1 X Radeon 7970/ Kingston 1333mhz/ Gryphon = 84391
    Attachment 36874

    Over and out, MovieTime

Sure, they are almost for free (20 usd at fleabay?), and the IC's are the same as many of the 200 USD kits got

they do 2900mhz CL12, but this IMC wont..
