CPU temp is the result of the initial work on RBHAPI (RealBench Hardware API) which is an open interface to provide hardware information/access directly. An open source library.

I sincerely appreciate your work, Nodens! I won't be back for full OC'ing (too busy with work) - but I really enjoyed couple RB runs before bedtime, after a long workday...

RBHAPI is the result of the need to read stuff directly from hardware such as temperatures, or accessing the HPET timer without asking users to enable it globally and to take full control of what I can read from it, and how, without relying on CPU-Z. Will eventually allow me to implement new platform support sooner and will drop the waiting time for mining system specification data at RB launch and benchmaking end to ~0. I currently hate the "waiting" delay there but there's nothing I can do about it while depending on CPU-Z to read that stuff.

Yeah...would be good to get rid of that delay...CPUz is well slow on X99

The problem with CPU-Z is that it tries to read everything for every possible platform and I/O chip out there. This is good for what CPU-Z is and does but it's turning to unwanted latency for what RB uses it for. RBHAPI will eventually allow RB to read only what it needs to read, specifically, instead of waiting for CPU-Z to check for every possible configuration, read everything and then parse the reportfor what it needs.
