Realbench v2 [Discussion Thread/Download Links]

Been busy over the weekend doing some test, and really, I am not getting anywhere!

So what was done (several times, in slightly different order)

1. Clean Win10 install from yesterdays ESD image
2. Yes for all options, no tweaking, basic install
3. Install all missing drivers, GFX, Chipset, nothing else!

Viewing event log, virgin clean, no problems apart from obvious DCOM error that seems to be a global problem too.

Running RB, and what? CPU meter still not working!

Tried extra resets of perfmon counters, no avail.

IMHO the currently used CPU meter method is unreliable or requires something else to get it working.

Awaiting more recommendations.

PS: Tests done on WIN10/Z170-A/6700K@4.2GHz/STRIX1070, so nothing special here.

And yes, for benchmarks a virgin system is good, it benches around 5% higher. (no tweaks applied)

There is something strange when I try to run the stress test of realbench from one of my hard drives, it says that instability is detected and points to blender, I have tried changing to other drives and folders and my guess is that the folder where it gives the error has some characters it doesn't recognize

Make sure you have a clean version of RB (as in re-extract the archive).
Also try moving it somewhere else with only latin characters in the path. This should not be it but try it anyhow.

Changelog:
-Further adjustments to the formula.
-Initial support for high DPI settings (In my VM tests 125% setting does not scale very well but it's still usable. 150% does--was largely unusable before.)
Further work for this requires rewriting a significant portion of the GUI code so this will have to do for now.

Hmm well here this had me re-tuning my OCs...0.035v higher...not sure if the version is harder or it's the non bench friendly temps that have arrived here...

Upload was back to the Flickering problem and the button dance to upload...

Scores crept up a bit...

Tested with version 2.44 and not a problem, re-downloaded version 2.54b and it does the same, blender crashes instantly, so I do believe the problem is the folder/path having the "ê" on the name of my folder "Transferências".

The Blender crash test due to path translation is a know issue with 2.4x, don't take it seriously as I did.
