Needing some help. RB v2.54 downloaded from leaderboard page.

    R7 1700, C6H

    - Win 7 I get error on launch, missing .dll, will get exact message, clean install of Win 7.

    - Win 10 Creators Edition clean install from ISO, RB on 1st launch on a boot of rig is weirdly slow to launch, then takes ages to start benchmark. If set to say 3 loops it will do 1 of each test but on multitasking just seem to keep repeating over and over the video. Stress testing did not note an issue.

Is it my setup or RB v2.54 (downloaded 03/04/17) have issue with Ryzen? have RB dir in root of storage like past versions, shortcut set to run as admin.

I also had strange NVidia .dll issue with RB where it would start normally but then stop with .dll error. Only with Windows 10 Creator's update, not clean install. It was NVidia related .dll and required uninstall and reinstall of NVidia display driver.

I just ran v2.43 from ROG page, same rig/settings/OS.

3x run, multitasking video not in FS I reckon sized to 1080P, OS res 1440P.

    Exclamation RealBench v2.44 vs. v2.54

    Hi guys.

My 6950X is at 4.4 with AVX offset at 2.
This means the cores run at 4.4GHz for non-AVX workload and clock down to 4.2GHz for AVX worldload.

I've been using RealBench v2.44 and recently, I tried the new v2.54 and Stress Test (not benchmark) puzzles me.

    1. With RealBench v2.44 Stress Test, cores run at 4.4GHz

    2. With RealBench v2.54 Stress Test, cores run at 4.2GHz

I double checked with OCCT and cores indeed run at 4.2GHz (AVX negative offset at 2)

My question is, why is there a difference in clock speed between RealBench v2.44 and v2.54 Stress Test?
I understand that during RealBench Stress Test, it runs Handbrake encoding loop in the back ground which means AVX workload. Hence, clock speed should step down to 4.2GHz. Then, why is RealBench v2.44 does not step down my cores to 4.2GHz (from 4.4GHz)??

"Download Link (see leaderboard for latest version download)"

And where would that leaderboard be? Why not link it?

You can find the Leaderboard under Overclocking -> RealBench

Just under the title you will find "Download RealBench". We do that way, to ensure you will run RealBench with the most updated version.
And don't forget, Keep pushing it !

Thanks. I found it earlier today by Googling for it.

But what I meant was: what is preventing you, or whoever is in control of this, from linking this (hyperlink):

    https://rog.asus.com/rog-pro/realbench-v2-leaderboard/

...in the first post of this thread, just like every other topic covered in this thread is linked? This would make it much easier for newcomers who are clueless to what is being talked about to find the right place to go. I Googled it to find the answer. I don't think that should be the default path that every newcomer should be required to take. Just my opinion.

    Cool

Yeah, that will make it much easier for newcomers to follow where to go. I didn't know where the leader boards were when I first found this post, and therefor, chances are there will be others that won't know either. But now all they have to do is click on that link.
