Any way to boost the LED backlight brightness?

Hi, I have a glossy screen on my g750jh running win7.

It seems like the control panel is the only place has access to control the LED backlight, but I don't feel bright enough even it is at 100% brightness.

Does anyone know if the maximum brightness given by windows is actually the max potential brightness of the screen? Or is there any software that can boost the backlight to even brighter than the control panel can give?

Yes, that is the max brightness. No driver can override what the screen says is the maximum. It can be dimmer, but not brighter.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!
