Planning my new ultimate pc

Hey everyone! Im currently planning a new build for gaming/video editing. My budget is between $6-6,500 for the tower and water cooling setup. Id like to use the Corsair 750d or the 800d depending on how many RADs are in there.

Spec list:
CPU: i7-4770k
Mobo: Maximus VI Formula or Extreme (not sure)
RAM: Not sure yet, aiming for around 16gb
GPU: 2x GTX 780ti
Storage: 2x Intel 520 series 240gb ssd
Storage: 2x WD Black 3TB 7200rpm
PSU: Corsair ax1200i

Plus a full water cooling setup for the cpu, and gpu's.

I really need to make sure this can run all games across three 2560x1440p monitors at ultra details.

So any help choosing parts would be greatly appreciated 🙂
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k @ 4.5GHz | Asus Maximus VI Formula | MSI GTX 780 Lightning | 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum @ 1866Mhz | Corsair 1200i PSU | 2x Intel 520 Series 240GB SSD (OS & Games) | 2x WD Black 4TB

Well, if you're gonna be spending 6.5K, you may as well get a RIVE, 4930K and I would recommend 32GB RAM - RipjawsZ 2133...depending on exactly what you're rendering, 16 may not be enough.

The 750D and 800D are not nearly mutli-GPU, fully watercooled system cases.

My suggestion:

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($320.98 @ Newegg)

Wow that is going to be an awesome and fun project, If it were me I would add a third gtx 780ti, one for each screen for ultra detail at 2560 x 1440 rez. When liquid cooling, cool the cpu first and graphics cards last, anything else you want to cool in between is up to you how you want it. If you go this route, you will more than likely need a quality external liquid cooling unit and a case with holes for your tubing. 16GB of ram is plenty for gaming but, as Myk SilentShadow says it may not be enough for rendering. Frozencpu.com has everything you will need for liquid cooling. Research well before making a decision, this can take days when doing a set up like yours.

You will not be able to run on Ultra across all 3 monitors @ 2560x1440 with good FPS with that set up. It will run but it will not be acceptable FPS if I was playing it lol... Add another GPU. I tried 3 on my 290X Crossfire and it choked out. Go for 1 per monitor as someone above said. Waiting a month then I'll buy another 290X/GPU block for Tri-Fire and attempt it again. Just go 3x1920x1080 for the 5760 unless that's weak or buy another GPU...

As a side note: I have a very close set up to what someone above posted that you buy with the 290X. Look @ my pics / price out. Except I did it for about 1k less with the watercooling

I have a NZXT Phantom 820 case but as I've said in other threads, if I would do it again. For the price and the performance?! Here ya go:
