System Overclocked (provide details)?
Any hardware upgraded?
Issue (In addition to the problem description please let us know if the problems started recently and if you remember changing anything around the same time, etc.)

Original ASUS factory image or clean install? Original factory Win8 upgraded to Win8.1 through Store
Microsoft Activated yes/no? YES
Drivers Installed (include version and especially any non-ASUS approved notebook drivers): Original ASUS drivers except vga which is using the Nvidia Beta driver (334.67)
Any third Party temp/voltage software installed: No
System Overclocked (provide details)? No
Any hardware upgraded? No, all factory original hardware.

System has been working fine for 6 months, but keyboard backlight no longer working.
Keyboard light will flash momentarily when notebook is turned on, but will not turn on in Windows.
