AI Suite III Cleaner Showing as Containing Malware32?

Has anyone else tried to download the AI Suite III cleaner recently?

Run this cleaner after uninstalling AI Suite III to remove all related services:

When I attempted to dowload it Webroot detected Malware32 and prevented the download. I downloaded the cleaner on a different computer that was running Norton and no warning. I transferred the downloaded file to a thumb drive and when I tried to install the cleaner on the original computer from that drive, Webroot came up with the warning again and deleted the file.

Anyone else run into this??

I would like to clean up my new computer from any lingering traces of AI Suite III but I am worried about the Malware threat.

It's safe. Probably a false positive due to it removing some services (AI Suite services, of course) from your computer.

I was wondering about that but I would like to make sure before I accidentally infect my new build. I have sent an inquiry to Webroot support with a link to the download and hope to get a response from them just to be sure.

I was wondering if anyone had actually run the program recently and not had any problems subsequently.

Webroot Support has confirmed that this is a false positive and is adjusting their database to correct it.
Better safe than sorry, so I thought it best to have it checked out and it is all clear.

So no worries about the AI Suite III cleaner. It is indeed safe to download.

The AI Suite III Cleaner tool was developed more than 5 years ago and no longer is needed to for current versions of AI Suite III since the software already has built in uninstaller and registry cleaning function when uninstalling. If you wanted something that does the same thing, please use CC Cleaner (www.ccleaner.com) as it does the same thing and helps clean your registry which is recommended before installing a newer version of a software.
