If you're putting a $2000 USD system together, you shouldn't be cheaping out on the PSU. The PSU is the heart of your system. Now, if I had $2000 to spend on an awesome gaming rig for ARMA 2 or 3, this is what I'd get.

    CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($334.28 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60 98.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($119.98 @ Best Buy)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($189.99 @ Newegg)
    Memory: G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory ($189.99 @ Newegg)
    Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($310.98 @ Newegg)
    Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($87.96 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card ($499.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT Phantom 530 White ATX Full Tower Case ($99.99 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: SeaSonic Platinum 860W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($183.60 @ Mwave)
    Total: $2016.76
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Chino, you're overpaying for the CPU cooler.

I did not touch the CPU cooler. Only modified his other components.

Exactly. Both the Corsair H100i and newer H105 are cheaper.

I made an account on this JUST to tell you DO NOT get the q9300 i had a system with that for about 2 years and just upgraded to a 4770k .Games Like dayz are extremely cpu reliant and the q9300 cannot handle games like that. If you want somewhat decent settings you will regret buying it 100 percent that is a old ass cpu i upgraded my system and only kept the monitors and graphics card for around 1000.Here is my part list of what i have so far for the love of god just add on to it and you should be fine http://pcpartpicker.com/user/metalskitz/saved/3T7u and if you look around im sure you can find it for under at least a hundred under what it says on there if you have a micro center go there they sell 4770ks chep instore along with a bunch of other stuff

He absolutely needs to get that boat anchor PSU out of the cart. Cool Max is a garbage psu company. While I'm at is so is Sparkle Power.

To the guy about the Q series Quad. That's his OLD rig. I had a Q9450 and QX9650 as well. Q-series is oldie but a goodie (years ago)
