    steel WILL eat tru alu in a short time.
    steel will eat tru copper too.
    mix steel types = not clever.

    they plater the tops so the steel would not interact whit other types of steel to prevent damaging things.

    even the impellar of the pump will get eaten up over time from debree running tru the loop.
