Can't upload png image

Pixels

Even though the list of supported file types includes .png, I can't upload it, says invalid file type - or something like that.
I tried opening the file in paint and resaving it out of paint as a png but still failed.

Hmm, that's an interesting issue.
I am trying to reproduce the issue, if it appears, I will forward it to the web team.

Edit: It appears to work!
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

odd, when I select one, it returns a message 'invalid file' after I click upload.
Maybe it's something to do with transparency. Can you do your 'test picture' text in white on a transparent background.

edit: nope, it's not transparency. Even if I save your png then try to upload it I still get the same error message.

What web browser and OS are you using? I am using Firefox on LINUX 64-bit. Have you tried uploading .jpg images, and seeing if those work?

No problem. 🙂 That's what I am here for. Have you tried Firefox?
