how to run hwbor prime

1. you need to download a java (JRE) in order to launch the jar file

(Important) >
x64 for windows 64 bit
x86 for windows 32 bit

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html (clean)

2. Download the benchmark> http://hwbot.org/benchmarks/processor unzip the file so you get the jar

3. Run the benchmark, and when you get a score, open cpu-z (3 tabs)/ , and hit save , it include a screen dump ( if i understand things right)

You now get a file to submit..

Please check the rules as usual, if i have missed something crucial

And dont forget to open cpu-z with the 3 tabs, BEFORE hitting the save result button..

Bring it on guys.. kör så skiten ryker (Swedish)

Works even with a i5 3470 to earn a few easy points, and we dont want to miss out on them, do we?

yes, its a simple benchmark to run, try it..

its both globals and HW

i believe it possible to score very high in this benchmark with tweaked ram and cpu OC

i am running the 3470 for a couple of months, and the purpose with that is to practice mem tweaking under a cap

the 3470 got a 2000mhz mem cap +/- some

So i cant really use the mhz, its restricted.. and i have to work with the timings

it has been very rewarding..

will change cpu soon again, for a fatty boom boom ( cant get that tune out of my head) its great btw

and hope i can pull off a +2400mhz 7.7.7 (subzero) time will tell, i got the sticks for it

Paw please update the 1st post about it's very important to use x64 version of Java on x64 OSes. Using x86 instead would cause 5-7% score loss.
