Minecraft running at 6-20 on asus r46vw
So I recently updated my nvidia drivers and since that my minecraft have been running super slow.Before i would get about 230-250 fps but now im lucky if i get 30fps.What is going on?How can i fix this?I have already updated Java to.
BTW:I can play other games fine (THIEF2014:19-30 on high settings;SouthPark The Stick of Truth:27 fps)

RAM:8gb
GRAPHICS CARD:Nvidia GTX660m
PROCCESOR:Intel Core i7-3630QM,2.4GHz
OS:Windows 8
HDD:128GB + 750GB

A lot of people are having issues with 334.89 maybe you should roll back to 331.82 see if that works. It's the best so far for me at least..

well...there might be a lot of redclocks or or anythign that would lag you out, also check your fps settings...and set them to maximum or no limit,
if this isn't it it must be your drivers.

Wow, this is really strange, man. Minecraft is not greedy on resourses and is pretty well optimized, so there should be no problems at all. Even computers with much worse specs can run this game. I think that the problem is software related. There must be some bad drivers or system errors. I would suggest reinstalling drivers, directx, vcredist and all stuff like this. I have recently read some articles about minecraft on https://www.ethershock.net/ and wanted to play this game too. I had a pretty low fps, but this manipulations have helped me to get rid of them. I think that it should help you too.
