G750JH Keyboard - faulty or?

Hello,

Basically when I type on the keyboard on my brand new G750JH I experience that it doesn't always register when pushing buttons.
It is very common when words have two of the same letter, e.g. "common" has two m's and the second m just won't register when hitting the keys..
I can type just fine on any other keyboards, and have contacted Asus and they told me I could send it in if I wanted (which I don't want to if there is a driver issue you guys may be aware of or anything like that..)

Anyone else experience this with the JH model or the other G750's ?

you have to install the keyboard device filter driver

I installed the filter a few days ago, the problem persists. It seems very, very random though when I have the issue or not - but in most cases I have noticed it when hitting the same button twice in a row.

I also noticed that it was most obvious when I typed the same letter twice. "att att att att att", would become "atat att at atatt" or similar.

Anyway, a known problem. If you want it gone look here.

Keyboard still does it on occasion, even had the mousepad disabled in UEFI for 2 weeks now. (googled it and apparently helped some people).

I'd RMA... you might try updating BIOS, but i'd RMA 🙂

This shouldn't be attributed to a faulty driver. The keyboard or the cable may be at fault. You can try to reseat the data cable, but rather than risk your warranty, it would be best to send it in for service.
