I did a fresh install of windows (not the recovery image provided with the laptop) and have installed all the drivers I thought was needed for the machine per the support page for the g74sx, but it seems the audio port still isn't working correctly nor are the lights at the bottom left lighting up. I dual boot with a debian based linux OS and neither work in that either. I bought this from someone selling it online so there is a chance that it didn't work upon purchase but I doubt it.
