Forgive me if this has been posted before. I tried to search briefly, but I'm short on time.
I bought a bunch of new computer parts, one being this board:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1BNCr I've installed all of these parts with my old computer. The parts I reused were the memory, case and PSU.
This memory(DR3-1333):
http://www.hynix.com/datasheet/eng/module/details/module_20_HMT125U7TFR8C.jsp (Not 100% sure if compatible, but it does fit in the slots)
This PSU (Measly 350W):
http://launch3telecom.com/pdf/chiconyelectronics/cpb09001b.pdf Now I know I'll need a new power supply, so, I'm using my old card for now.
But even with everything else installed, I'm having this issue. I turn on the PC and it reads the board and I can go to the BIOS. If I let it continue to start windows, it goes to the Windows screen for a few seconds, then it blue screens and restarts itself. If you let it continue again, it'll take you to a system repair screen for windows, which doesn't help anything.
Any ideas as to might have caused this?
My only ideas are:
-Memory incompatible
-Drivers needed for motherboard to be installed
-Something not plugged in?
-------------
The system repair also generates a report. Everything passes but this here:
Repair action: System files integrity check and repair
Result: Failed. Error code = 0x490
----------
I do get a blue screen, but I am unable to read the error code. It auto-restarts, is there a way I can turn this off in the BIOS? I'll continue to comb the manual.
Thanks for reading.
