Cleaning Asus Mouse MOBKUL

Hello,
I've got a mouse when I purchased my G74SX. It's an Asus Mobkul and recently I tried to clean the upper surface (special grip material) and I completly failed. I used just a towel with some windows cleaner product on it and the surface got sticky with small pieces comming from nowhere (like when using an eraser). Today I just tried to clean it with a towel and a bit water and it went just as bad as the firt try. The surface is now like "scratched"...
Do you have any idea how to clean these types of surfaces ? My boyfriend has the same on his razer naga and his gaming pad (razer too 🙂 ).

Thanks for your help !

The surfactant you put on it damaged the coating.

A damp cloth is the only way to clean stuff like this safely. And by damp I mean 'not very damp.'

Next time don't use such harsh products on plastics.
