CVF-Z Supreme Audio III software

Aside from the realtek audio drivers, there is no other audio software available for the CVF-Z? I tried the THX Trustudio Pro and it didn't work unfortunately.

There has been some previous post on this subject that you may want to review in this forum.

With that said I did pay the $29.99 to SoundBlaster to purchase the SoundBlaster X-FI3 software but it still requires the use of the Realtek Drivers.

BTW: I did notice some improvement from my at least 7 year old Altec Lansing Computer Speakers; at least with the X-FI3 software I get easy access to setting the base levels and there are several extra options. Screen shots below:35523

Does that program have cmss? I miss that feature from my xfi. Would you recommend purchasing the program?

I'm not sure what the CMSS is 🙂

Here is a link to the software which shows screen shots of the various configuration pages:

You know as far as computer stuff goes $30 isn't much to spend...would I recommend it...maybe. Again I noticed a bit of sound improvement with my existing speakers...if you are using your system with a 7.1 speaker system I could see some advantages. Again review the link and see if the feature (CMSS) is included and go from there.

Let me know what you decide and give some feedback if you opt for the purchase 🙂

I myself disabled the SupremeFX on my board. I have a X-Fi Titanium HD.

Nice audio card...I see that the card you selected is THX certified too 🙂

It has a pretty high SNR of 122 dB which is also a very good spec (even the Asus ROG Audio card is only 116 dB if memory serves me correctly).

Enjoy!
