Hello all,

I have been tweaking my new build to get the most out of it and successfully overclocked my 4770k to 4.4ghz (44,44,43,43) at 1.310vcore,
1.81 eventual voltage. I cool my cpu with h320 from swiftech and my temps never go above 75C. I live in india and the room temp here is above 36C

Can any one please help me go about 4.5-4.6, advice me what all changes i need to make

Hi paranoidnoob 🙂

4.4 is actually a really good 24/7 overclock and a really good gaming OC. I personally would not push that CPU much further; if temps are just below 75 then you don't want to really go higher... especially with that ambient temp. Wait for cooler weather or be happy with the OC you already achieved 😉

Thank you. I guess I will be happy with 4.4

The thing is the main ingredient for OCing higher will be more Vcore and that will mean higher temps and those CPUs are pretty hot when you start going higher.

I live in a pretty hot climate too and in summer I have to cut back on my OCing too 😞

I agree with Arne - don't push more that CPU with so high ambient temps...
