Well Here's an update...to the Nightmare...I received word that Asus Tech's at the Indiana/Kentucky (address states Indiana but FedEx is Kentucky) location that they had found the problems and fixed them..Yes!...and even updated the bios to the new one (ok...saves me time)...I got the board back yesterday and when I opened the box there was the board...No Antistatic bag, just a little Bubble Wrap and Peanuts...This isn't good...! so I reinstalled everything and and first found that no they didn't update the bios it was still at 1902...then when I finally got the system half stable I got this before another BSOD...

All of the same problems still exist even the X-FI problem and now it's performing even worse!...so what did they really do at repair...my estimation is NOT A DAM THING! they just re boxed my board and sent it back with out even looking at it. I then called Tech Support and was told I would get a new board and they would email me a prepaid shipping tag...INSTEAD I get an application for an RMA and told when I called back I have to pay to get it back again to the same location the messed everything up...I yelled and screamed and the tech finally stated that Asus would pay to have it shipped (This good since they are the ones who messed it all up in the first place) well no email yet...now I'm looking at Out $239.99 Plus Shipping for the Board $25 for shipping on the second RMA and approx $150 for the memory for this board...Thank you Asus! yes in total the only person at Asus I can thank is Mason because at least he tried to help. Brian this is a perfect example of what needs to be fixed at Asus before you could claim the best title.

It's not looking good at all, yes I can rant and rave all day but what it really comes down to is Customer Service, you may have a halfway decent team on the phone but if you never intend to back them up why the hell would you have them in the first place? A tax right off?...Warranties are only as good as the company behind them Proof with Dell, Gateway, Acer, Emachines...Lousy Customer Support = Garbage Product...with what I've gone through I can never claim Asus anywhere close to being mediocre much less the best.

I know ASUS will go to bat for their customers when they have to, you just may have to yell a little louder.
A buddy over at the AMD Processor Forum was given royal treatment, but only after he made a fuss about the lack of support.
He had two bad dual GPU ASUS AMD graphic cards (forget the model number) that he was running on the CH4F.
The cards were apparently no longer available for replacement, so ASUS replaced them with two GTX 590's.
Since the CH4F doesn't support SLI, ASUS agreed to replaced his CH4F with the CH5F.

So ASUS will go the extra mile, but only when push comes to shove...good luck!

Sorry NemesisChild, I don't see that happening no matter how loud I yell...Right now if I could get my money back I would and then purchase an ECS system, at least with them I've never had a problem and I still have 3 Systems that date back to 2004 that are still running and one system that dates back to when they were called PC Chips and Technology that's still running(My MySql Server is running on that one).

I can't say "I told you so" because I was simply stating facts.

"The only one that wants what you want more than you is Asus, especially Asus ROG.
They prove it each and every time they are given the opportunity."

    Chris Palmer Sr.

    Now, ROG.
    Fantastic..staying tuned smiling....
