The Asus store doesn't stock a backlit keyboard replacement for the G73jh. I have salvaged, what I assume is, an led membrane and select transparency keys ex. wasd, arrows, f1-f12 etc complete with the tiny bronze ribbon from the original keyboard. Is it possible to peel off the foil backing of a non-backlit replacement keyboard, slipping in the old led backing and going from there (I'd like to colorize certain keys), or have I misunderstood the led technology of this keyboard?
