    G71Gx Replacement Monitor

    Hey there!

So I'm sad to report that my trusty G71Gx took a bit of a nasty tumble backwards, and the monitor got pretty badly cracked. Like real bad. I was looking around for a replacement monitor, but I couldn't seem to find an exact match on any sites. Came quite close a few times, but a few of the specs were always off.

Is there a way to find and obtain the exact same type of monitor that my g71gx uses? It's done well by me for the last few years, and with upcoming budget constraints, I'm hoping to keep her going for as long as I possibly can.

Thanks for any help you folks can provide me!

Replacement monitors on laptops are normally quite expensive, which is why I would honestly recommend looking into a new machine, as it will be a lot faster, and will keep running for quite a number of years.
