G75VW: Replace scratched keys

Hi,
I own a asus g75vw and 2 keys ("s" and "d") are scratched as you can see on my attachment.
The question is: is it possible to replace these 2 keys without replace the whole keyboard ?

Yes, I had previously checked that key provided, thanks for sharing. Did you replace the key by yourself ? If so, do you know a resource where I could learn whow to do it ?

Yes they have a video on there website, its very easy you just have to be gentle and not break off the metal tabs on the keyboard it self. Watch the video a few times, if your not comfortable doing it I'm sure any repair shop would do it for you.

The only issue is that in this video the key was previously removed and that's something I would like to know as well 🙂

Once you get the parts in your hand it becomes quite logical, with the new parts you'll see how to take the old ones off. Like I said before if your not comfortable doing this take it to a repair shop they won't charge you to much do the install.

Yeah, if you are careful, replacing keys isn't that risky - if you are careful. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy, just be slow and careful, and you'll be fine.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!
