But that is as far as i will go binning the Haswell
    I'd wait for Gen 5.

Rumor is that intel is bringing back the solder.
And maybe Broadwell/Haswell-E will have awesome IMCs.

Nahh, die mount is great, very good temps = OC range

and from reading the posts in this thread, i believe its this IMC that are on the lower scale of performance..

The cpu dont clock that bad, but the IMC kinda sux

cant even run at XMP 1866mhz at stock CPU speed

I'd wait and see what results Gen 5 brings.
If the IMCs are consistently strong, definitely grab one.

I have no clue with memory so haven't tried tweaking this kit of HyperX Beast (KHX24C11T3K2/8X). I couldn't run the 2400MHz XMP 11-13-13-30-2N with my 4770k at stock.
2133MHz 11-12-11-30-2N isn't a problem with my cpu at 4.5Ghz but the timings are loose, I've not tried with a higher cpu freq.

    No worries mate, you're welcome

I was running a kit of Corsair Vengence 1600MHz before this kit so it's a bit of an improvement

A screenshot of 32GB 2400MHz memory done quite a while ago using all available memory in Prime.

this is what i am trying to point out, the difference is so huge, from specimen to specimen

    1600mhz/ 4gb --- 2400mhz/ 32gb

Where is the logic? tolerances are totally off the wall
