G75VX touchpad left button does not work properly

Hey all,

My Synaptec touchpad does not work properly. Left mouse button is like "always" pressed. Moving the mouse with the touch pad selects text, moves items and so on depending where I am. Do you have any idea what could cause this? I have been using Win 8 and later Win 8.1 without any issues, but 2 days ago this problem started. Running in Safe Mode did not solve it and I have seen it there as well. Normal USB mouse works OK, but using the touch pad is a nightmare at the moment.

Any ideas?

Try a driver reinstall/repair, maybe that will fix your issue.
I'm pretty sure that will fix issue, if the touchpad is not defective.

Unfortunatelly, deinstalling and instaling the Synaptec driver again did not solve the issue. Left touchpad button is again shown as "pressed", tap on the touchpad is not like "left click", tap-tap is not like double click.
